Stitched With Love - Youth Crochet Class
Youth Crochet Class - Thursday 16th April
Come along and join us for a fun and creative workshop for youth aged between 13 to 17 years old to learn the basics of crochet.
Youth will be taught the basic crochet stitches and make a wristband.
Youth that have some experience will learn to make a basic Granny Square and if they so choose, this can be donated to the Stitched With Love Project.
One of the goals of the Stitched With Love Project is to pair kaumatua with youth to nurture intergenerational connections and spread awareness of the Stitched with Love programme by working together to produce blankets for those in need in our community. We will have some of our kaumatua here on the day who will work with the rangatahi sharing their skills and helping them to learn the craft of crochet.
