This workshop equips staff with trauma-informed techniques to respond effectively during crisis situations. Participants will learn strategies for co-regulating with clients experiencing distress, restoring safety and stability, and conducting thoughtful post-incident reflection to support learning, healing, and improved team response.
Participants will learn to:
- Recognize signs of trauma activation during crisis situations
- Apply co-regulation techniques that support emotional stabilization
- Use trauma-informed communication during high-stress interactions
- Implement structured post-incident reflection practices that promote team learning and resilience
