The Comedy Arena Training Center

The Comedy Arena is casting FOUR brand-new House Troupes and you can audition for one… or all of them.

This is your chance to get on stage regularly, collaborate with a dedicated ensemble, and perform in one of our most exciting specialty formats:

• Silent Sketch Troupe – physical storytelling, character, and comedy without words
• Puppet Improv Troupe – big characters, weird worlds, and full puppet chaos
• Parody Improv Troupe (Improvised “Blank”) – fully improvised movies, genres, and over-the-top storytelling
• Improvised Shakespeare – ay! Forsooth! drama, poetry, betrayal… and probably a ghost

Whether you love character work, genre play, or bold theatrical improv, there’s a troupe for you.

WHY AUDITION?

• Perform in 15–30 minute featured sets as part of our regular shows
• Work closely with a Comedy Arena faculty coach
• Be part of a consistent ensemble (not just drop-in shows)
• Gain performance experience in a fun, supportive environment
• No cost to audition or perform

HOW IT WORKS

• Each troupe performs in scheduled shows
• Rehearsal Expectations (2-4 per month)
• Performance Expectations (1-2 per month)
• Cast sizes typically range from 4–8 performers

HOW TO AUDITION

Auditions will be held at The Comedy Arena.

• No prep needed—just come ready to play
• Auditions consist of short improv scenes
• You may be asked to submit a headshot, resume, and availability after registering
