Complimentary Open House to Interim Leadership for Organizations

Third Sector welcomes board members, decision makers, and executive leaders to a complimentary one-hour orientation to utilizing interim leadership within their organizations. For any nonprofit experiencing or expecting a leadership transition, this session will explore the advantages of bringing in a professional interim and what you can expect during the interim period. For organizations working to develop intelligent leadership succession plans, this casual gathering will provide rationale for including interim leadership in those plans.

We'll also share information about how Third Sector approaches interim leadership training and works with organizations to source trained, prepared, available interim candidates. Leaving time for your questions, we will also outline the benefits of working with Third Sector as we support both the interim and the organization throughout the interim's tenure.

This session is designed for organizations considering interim leadership. (For information about Third Sector's training and placement for those wanting to prepare for and find work as interims, please attend our Introduction to Interim Executives Academy.)

We welcome your participation!

In 2026, we'll host an additional informational gathering on November 18.

If you need more information, please contact Joan Brown, joan@thirdsectorcompany.com.

Third Sector Company is committed to advancing justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion as foundational to its programs.

We acknowledge and honor the fundamental value and dignity of all people; and we pledge our individual and organizational efforts to build respect, dignity, caring, and equitable treatment for all. As an organization, we are committed to transforming the world into one that promotes social justice and freedom from oppression, including but not limited to, racism, sexism, classism, heterosexism, ageism, and ableism.

Thus, we aim to be adaptable, actively anti-racist, embracing cultural differences, and to be accessible for people who are differently resourced and differently abled. Since we do not want financial hardship to be a barrier to participation, there are several seats reserved in each of our fee-based programs for confidentially awarded scholarships. We encourage those from historically underserved communities to apply.
