SUMMER MUSICAL INTENSIVE ’26
SUMMER MUSICAL INTENSIVE ’26
Not just a camp. A focused, professional intensive!
For over 40 years, Centerstage Theatre has produced bold, high-quality work onstage. This summer, students step into that same standard.
Over two focused weeks, performers train in singing, dancing, and acting, then bring that work to life in a fully staged musical revue.
Students work side by side with professional directors, choreographers, stage managers, and teaching artists. Rehearsals move with purpose. Expectations are clear. The goal is a strong, confident performance.
What Students Do
- Build vocal strength and ensemble sound
- Learn and perform choreography
- Develop acting choices and stage presence
- Rehearse as a company toward a final performance
Final Revue Performances
The program concludes with two live performances for family and friends. Students experience what it takes to prepare, refine, and deliver work in front of an audience.
Recent Material Includes
- Revolting Children – Matilda the Musical
- Little Girls – Annie
- Stick It to the Man – School of Rock the Musical
- Square Root of Possible – Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey
- Freak Flag – Shrek the Musical
The Experience
This is structured, high-level training in a working theatre environment.
Students are expected to show up ready to work, collaborate, and grow. In return, they leave with stronger skills, clearer confidence, and a real understanding of the process.
Tuition and Access
Community-Supported Tuition
- This program uses a community-supported tuition model designed to expand access while sustaining the full cost of the work.
- The true cost of the program is $675 per student.
- Some families choose to contribute more. This directly supports other students and helps keep the program accessible.
- Others select a reduced or flexible rate that reflects their financial reality.
- No application. No income verification.
- A limited number of reduced and flexible tuition spots are available.
Each tuition choice helps shape a program where more students can participate and succeed.
