Free
Tue, May 19, 2026, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM CDT
Virtual Event
This training will provide participants with context on how racialized misogyny impacts Black, Asian, Latine, Indigenous, Arab, and Muslim American communities. It will use presentation and discussion to explore how histories of oppression have manifested into violence and other systemic oppressions against minoritized communities in the US, and broaden understanding of the intersecting oppressions that many Gender-Based Violence survivors experience. Participants will come away able to identify strategies and resources to support more cultural humility in their social service practices.
