PTR Dual Certification (Junior and Adult)

This course is delivered by Coach Central, the Official Tennis Coach Education Provider for PTR UK.

PTR Dual Certification is a specialised, intensive Professional Tennis Registry programme that certifies coaches in two distinct areas simultaneously— 10 & Under and Adult coaching. This approach expands coaching skills, boosts employability, and accelerates professional growth with a globally recognised qualification. 

Key Details of PTR Dual Certification:

Focus: Covers two separate specialisations to broaden coaching versatility. The Dual Certification is designed for both new and experienced coaches looking to elevate their coaching qualifications. 

Workshop Structure: Involves an intensive 3-day on-court workshop, with a 3-part assessment involving a teaching assessment, skills/playing test, and a written exam.

Benefits: Accelerates the qualification process compared to taking courses individually, allowing coaches to specialise in multiple age groups or levels quickly.

It is designed for both new and experienced coaches looking to elevate their coaching qualifications. 

Other important information:

• The course runs over 3 days - 27-28 June and 4 July 2026. You must be available for each day and you must attend every session of the course on all 3 days
• The course runs from 09:00 - 16:00 each day.

• You can apply for LTA Accreditation after completing the course as long as you have a valid DBS, Safeguarding & Emergency First Aid at Work 1-day course certificate.
