W.I.S.E.R. is dedicated to nurturing the next generation in Victoria through quality enrichment programs, one step at a time. Our seasonal camps are thoughtfully designed to instill Islamic moral values through engaging and captivating activities, all presented in an interactive camp format. Each camp promises to leave participants having gained at least one valuable attribute from the W.I.S.E.R. experience.

Urban Explorers
A Summer Camp for Girls (Ages 10–15)
August 10–13 | Monday–Wednesday: 1:00–5:00 PM | Thursday: Full-Day out

Victoria is full of rich history, beautiful landscapes, and hidden gems, and Urban Explorers Camp gives girls the opportunity to discover it all alongside their Muslim friends. From a visit to the iconic Hatley Castle, featured in countless Hollywood films, to exploring Indigenous landmarks through the Seven Signs of lək̓ʷəŋən Scavenger Hunt, coastal adventures, and a full-day BC Ferries trip to Tsawwassen Mills, Urban Explorers Camp is packed with exciting experiences that help girls see their city through fresh eyes, all alongside their Muslim friends.

What truly makes this camp unique, however, isn't just where we go, it's what the girls take home with them. Throughout the week, intentional and natural conversations and activities encourage them to reflect on life topics such as friendships, social media, beauty standards, personal responsibility, and navigating the world as young Muslim girls. New this year, we've added a leadership component that blends both Islamic and contemporary perspectives on leadership, helping girls recognize that leadership isn't about having a title; it's about character, service, courage, and learning how to positively influence those around them. The WISER goal is that every girl leaves with stronger friendships, practical life skills, and a greater sense of confidence in who Allah created her to be.

Spaces are limited to just 10 girls to provide a meaningful and personalized experience. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Once your registration is submitted, you will receive an email with payment instructions.
