Come and join us on this picturesque walk with a difference on the hills east of Glossop on the edge of the Peak District. We walk eastwards from the edge of Glossop along a lovely valley, then up towards the Bleaklow plateau, visiting a couple of plane wrecks on the high moor. There are extensive moorland scenes. This is a Mod + walk, of length 16km (10 miles), and ascent 700m (2300ft). There is a fair amount of walking on rough ground, though most of the walk is on distinct paths.
