Join us Friday, April 17th from 6:00-7:00pm for a fun, creative hour of writing, imagination, and story games! ✏️✨

This workshop is designed for kids ages 8–12 who love stories or just want to try writing in a relaxed, encouraging space. This month, in Mad Scientist Lab, writers will create wildly original (and slightly dangerous) inventions by combining unexpected everyday objects. Then, they’ll bring their ideas to life through dramatic infomercials or imaginative stories. Along the way, we’ll explore persuasive writing techniques to convince the world that even the most ridiculous ideas are absolutely necessary. Because sometimes the craziest inventions make the best stories.🧪✨

There’s no pressure, no grades — just creativity, confidence, and fun. Each student will receive a mini writer’s notebook to use and take home. 📓 Cost: $20

Leah is an exceptional teen writer who loves storytelling and helping young writers feel confident with their ideas 🌟 She has received numerous writing awards and is passionate about creating welcoming, low-pressure spaces where kids can explore creativity, have fun, and discover their own writing voice.
