Heartmoor Farm Education Centre

We have the opportunity to salvage and recover a 1800’s house in Bremo Bluff with a slate roof and LOTS of old growth heart pine dimensional lumber. Those of you who have been in the Heartmoor Circle of Friends for a while will remember the Caroline Barn or the Dyke Farmhouse. Bremo will be our 9th reclamation!

Over the course of Memorial Day Weekend, we will carefully dismantle this old house and distribute and reclaim materials that otherwise would be burned or sent to a landfill. Volunteers are trained in dismantling and are welcome to claim as much material for your own use as you can haul.

Registration is not required but encouraged so we can plan! Bring your friends!!

Recommended:

• PPE (gloves, masks, boots, etc)
• Lunch, water bottle

• Wheelbarrow

We will have light food and refreshments as well as some extra gloves and masks.
