The Spirit of Texas Daily Reader: A Unique Approach to Learning Texas History

Class Description

In this course we will walk through the incredible story of Texas from exploration and settlements to revolution, statehood, and more. Students will read portions of the daily reading at home, or may have a parent read to/with them. We will discuss the events from the readings on Fridays and do a host of in-class activities from maps to re-enactments.
