Safeguarding Partnership Practitioner Learning Event

Event overview

Our upcoming Practitioner Learning Event is designed to bring practitioners together to reflect on key findings from serious safeguarding reviews, explore what these mean for day‑to‑day practice and strengthen collective knowledge and confidence.

By creating a shared space for learning, we aim to support practitioners to:

  • deepen their understanding of the factors that contribute to the most serious incidents
  • recognise the early warning signs and complexities that precede harm
  • apply learning from reviews directly to their own roles and decision‑making
  • build stronger, more resilient safeguarding responses across agencies

Learning from serious safeguarding cases is a vital opportunity for growth. When we understand what went wrong and why, we strengthen our ability to prevent harm, protect children and adults at risk and improve outcomes.

This event brings that learning to life, enabling practitioners to connect, reflect and translate insights into better practice for the future.
