Class Description

In this class, students will discover the amazing design and characteristics of swimming creatures as part of God’s creation. This underwater adventure will start with an introduction to oceanography including topics like the oceans’ structure, salinity, tides, and waves. Once they become young oceanographers, they will study the animals that fill the oceans. They will learn about whales, cephalopods, mollusks, gastropods, and more. This hands-on class will experiment with water pressure, density, hagfish slime, and much more. By the end of the year, students will have gained a deeper understanding of the oceans, the creatures that fill them, and most importantly they will have a greater knowledge of the One who created it all.
