Class Description

This will be an introduction to communications class. We will be lighthearted and work throughout the year to give clear, enthusiastic, confident speeches. Students will learn to use props, note cards, and breathing techniques to manage nervousness. Students will create speech outlines and learn introductions and conclusions. Students are encouraged to practice at home so they feel more prepared to speak in front of their peers.
