Exploring Art Term 2 2026 Starts Tuesday 21st April 6.30 pm - 8.30 pm

Produce your own original Art inspired by the works of well known artists but has you exploring themes that lead and encourage you to develop your own style.

From landscape to figures - there are no boundaries.

You will have access to an accomplished Artist and Tutor Valentine Venimore who will help you to explore history and art. He will support you to gain some new skills or refine the skills that you already have.

Join like-minded creatives in a warm, friendly environment where you can create freely.

This class is suitable for Adults.

Course cost $60 - All materials provided.

As a not-for-profit organisation, NGĀ ART (Te Whare Toi o Ngaaruawaahia) relies on grants, community funding, and donations to keep our classes affordable and accessible for everyone in our community. This programme is generously subsidised thanks to funding support from TEC (Tertiary Education Commission) to assist with literacy and numeracy needs of our participants. You must attend 80% of the classes. At the same time we hope you will learn other useful and interesting skills and have a lot of fun learning with us.
