🚴‍♂️ Community Ride + Family Wellness Day 🚴‍♀️

Join Bike Durham for a fun, family-friendly community event on Saturday, April 18th!

We’ll start the day at Murray Massenburg Elementary School

📍 3901 S Roxboro St, Durham, NC 27713

🕙 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM

This first portion of the event will include:

• 🚲 Learn-to-ride support for youth and beginners
• 🔧 Basic bike safety checks and adjustments
• 🎯 Skills activities and mini riding courses
• 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Time to ride together, build confidence, and connect with neighbors

Whether your child is just getting started or already riding, our team will be there to make sure everyone feels safe, supported, and ready to ride.

🚴 Transition Ride to YMCA

After the morning session, we’ll ride together as a group to the Hope Valley YMCA

🕐 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

This optional community ride will serve as a “feeder” into the YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day / Family Wellness Programming, where families can continue the fun with:

• 🏃‍♀️ Health and wellness activities
• 🎉 Family-friendly programming
• 🤝 Community partners and resources

Our ride leaders will guide the group at a comfortable, no-drop pace—so no one gets left behind.
