**Doors open at 12:55, do not enter before 12:55. Class starts at 1pm. Doors locked at 1:05, no one will be admitted after 1:05**

🧠 Workshop Overview

A fast-paced, hands-on review emphasizing:

• Adult & Child CPR
• Emergency response protocol, with emphasis on personal safety
• Team and solo practice scenarios
• Q&A and confidence-building activities

Meets OSHA and Hawaiʻi Massage Board standards

(2 contact hours, valid 2 years)

As there might be some first time Massage Board License applicants in this class, I'm allowing a few extra minutes for the extra module they require by the Board. If you are a first time massage license applicant, chose this class time and indicate that in the registration notes. The AM class time frame may not allow for enough time to go over required first time massage therapist's requirements. Discuss with Instructor if this applies to you. We might end earlier than indicated, depending on several factors. This depends on the group staying on course, refraining from side conversations and commentary, not leaving classroom for breaks until the intended break times, saving questions til the end of each module, and grasping the skills proficiently as a group. If time allows we may also go over AED use, choking and life threatening bleeding skills as well as opportunity to practice infant CPR.

🧾 Registration

• Advance registration required for all participants - NO WALK-INS without instructor permission
• Register online — include name exactly as you want on your Certificate, email, phone # (failure to provide all information requested, or incorrectly entering your info, may affect, postpone, or prevent your success) *what you enter will be copied and pasted onto your Certificate EXACTLY as you enter it here, you are responsible for correcting any mistakes you've made in through portal at least 48 hours prior to class. Look for your confirmation email for info and access to change any errors you made in your registration information.

• PERSONAL ACCOUNTABLITY: You are responsible for remembering the class date and time, location, all policies including refund rules, and arriving on time ready to participate. You are responsible for entering your correct and complete info into the registration portal, and for personally correcting any errors or omissions you made well in advance of class date. Payment Options:

• Venmo pre-pay to reserve your spot. text instructor for Venmo link or payment arrangement, as soon as you register.
• Discuss with Instructor if you do not have Venmo
• You might be emailed a payment reminder after registering and moved into the waitlist until completed. If you do not make prompt arrangements for payment or have an agreement with the Instructor to pay later, you may lose your spot to someone ready to commit. Space and capacity is limited. Review the refund policy carefully if you feel you might need to cancel.
• Please do not take the space and opportunity to learn life saving skills from someone else who might not be able to register when the class becomes full, if you are not serious about attending. There will be no refunds or credit towards future classes for no shows and late arrivals.

👥 Who Can Attend

• For massage therapists and general public who are currently or recently certified
• Contact instructor for approval if certification has lapsed or it’s your first time
• Ideal for massage therapists; others welcome with approval
• If this is your FIRST TIME applying for a Hawaii State Massage License, indicate in the registration notes. First time applicants require an additional module and different Certificate title.

🧍‍♀️ What to Expect

• Hands-on practice (kneeling, laying, compressions, full participation)
• Wear comfortable clothing to be active; bring water and a positive attitude
• No phones, texting, notes, photos, or recordings during class

IF YOU FEEL YOU ARE CURRENT, UP TO DATE, AND PROFICIENT IN YOUR CPR SKILLS AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROTOCOL, CONTACT TEACHER TO SEE IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A 'CHALLENGE' SKILLS SET QUIZ. To qualify you must have a current CPR Certificate that has not expired for more than 30 days, be a prior student of Hands On Hearts CPR, and be able to take a quiz and perform high quality CPR with no coaching or prompting. 💬 Reminders

• Doors close at 1:05PM sharp — no late entries, no exceptions. Doors open at 12:55PM. Do not enter the building prior to 12:55PM.
• Come ready to participate and focus
• Hold non-urgent questions, comments or sharing until after class or until asked if there's any questions
• Limited capacity — register early
• Contact instructor well in advance of class date with any and all questions and concerns
• ******PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY: You are responsible for remembering the class date and time, location, all policies, and arriving on time ready to participate. Mark your calendar now and review your registration details for any errors before submitting. You are responsible for making any changes to your name, email or phone number, or switching to another class date or time, as well as withdrawing from class, in the registration portal at least 3 days prior to class
• Memos and updates may be emailed you with any changes, clarifications or additional information between now and the class date. You may find any emails and memos sent from Hands On Hearts CPR in your emails by typing "CPR" in your subject field, take a look before coming to class to see if you've missed any important notices.
• An automatic email reminder might be sent to your email 3 days prior to class. It is your responsibility to put this class on your calendar NOW, and adhere to all policies and instructions. Registrations made less than 3 days prior to class will not receive a reminder.
• All communication and concerns regarding this class should be made solely and expressly directly with Hands On Hearts CPR Instructor and no other business, group, school, company, instructor, or entity.

🎓 Certification & Compliance

This workshop meets OSHA and Hawaiʻi Massage Board CPR requirements:

Massage therapists must complete in-person, hands-on CPR course with at least 2 contact hands-on credit hours, every biennial renewal period with an Instructor licensed and in alignment with the American Red Cross.

Either certificate option satisfies these requirements. If you desire the American Red Cross Certificate, you must choose that add-on option. Your additional Certificate will be emailed to you directly from the Red Cross.

Instructor is licensed under the American Red Cross and teaches in accordance with Red Cross standards.

Refunds:

• Refunds will be made if cancelled at least 5 days prior to class. Cancellations made less than one week before class will be offered another class date to transfer to, IF AVAILABLE. Cancellations and no shows less than 48 hours prior to class, including arriving late (no admittance), will NOT be refunded.

• Out of respect of other students as well as Instructor and limited class time and space rental time,: Arrive on time, ready to learn and participate with a positive attitude, and refrain from socializing and conversating once entering the building. Please remain outside until ready to quietly enter.
• Contact Instructor well in advance of class with any additional questions not covered here. Date of class; Save all questions and comments during the workshop til the end of class.
• Anyone being disruptive to the class flow, having side conversations, or disrespectful, will be asked to leave. Anyone not present for the entire workshop, not paying attention or participating in skill sets, having side conversations, leaving the classroom, or cell phone use, will not qualify for Certification and there will not be a refund. We will take two brief 5 minute restroom breaks, utilize that time for any and all restroom or phone needs.
• If you require handicapped accommodations, or other specialized needs, contact Instructor well advance of class so that may be arranged.
• Instructor will not be responding to calls or texts on the date of the workshops. Make sure you have communicated with Instructor well in advance of class date with any questions not already covered here.

• PARK AT TACO BELL (per Golden Lotus instructions) and walk to Golden Lotus. There will be an earlier class finishing up right before yours, so parking might not be an option at Golden Lotus. Do not park at Sensi Sushi or #1 or Ono. Golden Lotus address is listed on this info page take note of that now if you are not familiar with the location. Golden Lotus is down a gravel driveway, building in the very back, behind Ono restaurant. There is a Golden Lotus wooden sign visible from the street next to the driveway. It is two businesses to the North of Taco Bell.
