These Creative Art classes with STEAM integration are perfect for kids ages 7–11 who are ready to dive into hands-on, creative projects that blend art and innovation. Through engaging, project-based activities, students will explore, design, build, and create while developing problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

From painting and mixed media to sculpture and STEAM-inspired design challenges, each class encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Students will work on unique projects that spark imagination while strengthening focus and perseverance.

Taught by a licensed elementary art teacher with a STEAM certification and experience working with hundreds of K–5 students.

How Scheduling Works

Classes are held primarily on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with additional Monday/Wednesday sessions available. After purchasing, you will select your specific class project and date.

Project Menu: What We're Building

• June 23: Epic Adventure Courses:
  Design and build the ultimate thrill ride! Kids will engineer their own custom magnetic tracks, adding jumps, tunnels, and creative scenery for a high-speed adventure.
• June 25: Rainbow Reflection Kaleidoscopes:
  Explore the magic of light and symmetry! Using Mylar sheets and colorful materials, students will build their own kaleidoscopes to see the world in a whole new way.
• June 29: Balloon-Blast Racers:
  Ready, set, blow! In this STEAM-powered session, kids transform simple recyclables into zippy, air-powered vehicles that really move.
• June 30: Design & Grow: Living Roof Cottage
  Become a miniature architect and gardener. Students will build a cardboard house from the inside out and plant a real "living" roof made of sprouted chia.
• July 1: The Tube-Turn Television:
  Bring your drawings to life! Kids will create a scrolling "television" to tell their own hand-drawn stories through moving frames.
• July 13: Wing Span Wonders:
  Take flight with art! Using stencils and clever mechanics, students will craft birds with wings that actually flap as they "fly" through the air.
• July 14: Tongue Tied Creatures:
  Create a playful animal friend with a mind of its own! Kids will build paper cup creatures and gamify the fun with a rolling tongue to "catch" their food.
• July 15: A-Maze-Ing Gravity Games:
  Think like a game designer! Using cardboard, straws, and obstacles, kids will engineer a complex marble maze to test their friends' skills.
• July 21: Awesome Airplanes:
  The sky is the limit! In this lesson, kids are going on a flying adventure! We are going to create airplanes and then fly to wonderful destinations!
• July 23: Star-Bright Magic Wands:
  Mix art with electronics! Students will learn how to connect LEDs to batteries to create a glowing, star-tipped wand that lights up with a touch.
