Not just a camp. A focused, professional intensive!

For over 40 years, Centerstage Theatre has produced bold, high-quality work onstage. This summer, students step into that same standard.

Over two focused weeks, performers train in singing, dancing, and acting, then bring that work to life in a fully staged musical revue.

Students work side by side with professional directors, choreographers, stage managers, and teaching artists. Rehearsals move with purpose. Expectations are clear. The goal is a strong, confident performance.

What Students Do

  • Build vocal strength and ensemble sound
  • Learn and perform choreography
  • Develop acting choices and stage presence
  • Rehearse as a company toward a final performance

This Year's Revue Theme: TO BE ANNOUNCED!

Built from some of Broadway’s boldest anthems, last year’s The Revolting Children Revue was a fast-paced, heartfelt, and hilarious celebration of what it means to grow up, speak up, and stand out. Students dove into themes of rebellion, imagination, and identity — raising their voices both literally and powerfully.

Last Year's Revue Included

  • Revolting Children – Matilda the Musical
  • Little Girls – Annie
  • Stick It to the Man – School of Rock the Musical
  • Square Root of Possible – Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey
  • Freak Flag – Shrek the Musical

Why Theatre Training Changes Everything

This is structured, high-level training in a working theatre environment.

Students are expected to show up ready to work, collaborate, and grow. In return, they leave with stronger skills, clearer confidence, and a real understanding of the process.

At Centerstage Theatre Conservatory, we believe theatre builds more than performers — it shapes people. Our students leave with sharpened artistic skills and strengthened life tools that serve them onstage and far beyond.

5 Life Skills We Cultivate

  1. Creative Confidence - Learn to speak up, take risks, and lead with authenticity.
  2. Collaborative Leadership - Support the ensemble while finding your own voice within it.
  3. Adaptability Under Pressure - Stay calm, make strong choices, and thrive in the moment.
  4. Empathy Through Storytelling - Connect deeply with characters — and with each other.
  5. Purposeful Presence - Show up fully and discover the power of being seen and heard.

Tuition and Access

Theatre is for everyone. Pay what you can. Get what you need. Help how you’re able.

Centerstage's Summer Institute uses a community-supported tuition model — one where every family's contribution helps make the program possible for everyone. The true cost of the program is $675 per student. Families who are able to contribute at or above this amount directly support peers who need a reduced rate. Families who need flexibility are welcome to choose a lower tuition that reflects their reality.

No application. No income verification. Just an honest choice that works for your family.

A limited number of reduced- and flexible-tuition spots are available. Whatever you choose, your enrollment is part of what makes this program work — for your student and for the students alongside them.

Ready to Shine?

Whether your student is taking their first step onstage or already dreaming of Broadway, the Summer Musical Theatre Intensive offers more than training — it offers transformation. They’ll walk in as students. They’ll leave as artists.
