Asynchronous Learning Option

When student behavior impacts the flow of your classroom, it can be hard to know the most effective way to respond. In this session, we’ll explore how understanding the function of behavior can lead to more confident and effective responses. This training is also ideal for anyone interested in being part of Tier 2 supports or joining your site’s Tier 2 team.

This asynchronous training supports teachers in building skills to address ongoing behavior challenges that remain despite effective Tier 1 practices.

Earn 3.5 hours of extra earnings by completing Module 1 "Understanding Behavior" on your own time between now and June 12, 2026. If you sign up for this option, be sure you read the directions at the top of the link: "Before you Begin: A Few Tips for Completing the Modules." Note that you will only be compensated for completing Module 1. If you would like to engage in the other modules, they will be for your own personal learning.

Please only select this option if you have the bandwidth to complete this training on your own time before June 12th. Participants will not be compensated unless a print out or screenshot of the post-test results are given to Elisa Gonzalez-Marquez in Student Services by June 12, 2026: GonzalezMarquezE@svusd.org
