Summit Homeschool Group

Speaking in front of a group can be scary, but it doesn't have to be! Using engaging activities, games, practice, and feedback we will delve into the world of public speaking. We will work to build confidence, strong communication skills, critical thinking and develop verbal and nonverbal expression. Students will work on creating their own speeches during the year on a variety of fun topics. Describing their favorite vacation, persuading us that waffles are better than pancakes, sharing your favorite story as the main character, and teaching us how to play their favorite games are just a few examples of topics we may explore. I am excited to watch your child grow in their skills and engage in new activities while in a supportive and encouraging environment.
