This is one week of creative chaos in a professional theatre.

Not lectures. Not sitting around waiting for your turn. Not spending five days doing the same thing over and over.

You move. You sing. You improvise. You build characters. You tell stories. You learn how actors, directors, designers, and stage managers actually make theatre happen.

And every session stacks on the one before it.

You might start the morning learning how to command the room with your voice. An hour later, you’re using movement to build a character physically from the ground up. After lunch, you’re thrown into improv where your job is to think fast, trust your instincts, and commit. Then suddenly you’re working with an ensemble to create a full performance moment from scratch.

By the end of the week, you are not the same performer you were on day one.

Centerstage Conservatory is a professional training environment for young performers who want to build real skills, work with industry artists, and grow quickly through focused, high-impact instruction.

🎭 Acting Lab
Build characters. Make bold choices. Learn how to react truthfully instead of “performing.”

🎤 Voice & Performance
Learn vocal technique, projection, storytelling through song, and how to actually connect with an audience instead of just singing at them.

🤸 Movement & Physical Storytelling
Use your body as part of the performance. Energy, posture, rhythm, stage presence, spatial awareness, choreography, stage combat basics, and movement-based character work.

🎲 Improv & Creative Risk-Taking
Fast thinking. Collaboration. Confidence. Learning how to fail without freezing up.

💡 Stagecraft & Behind-the-Scenes Magic
Lighting. Sound. Props. Design. Stage management. The invisible work that makes live theatre feel electric.

🧠 Skills Stacking
This is where the program hits differently.

The skills build on each other all week long. Voice work strengthens acting choices. Improv sharpens confidence. Movement improves stage presence. Ensemble exercises build collaboration. Design sessions help performers understand the full picture of storytelling.

Students leave stronger because they are learning how all the pieces connect.

Who This Is For

  • Students entering grades 6–12

The Vibe

Professional artists. Supportive environment. Fast-paced rooms full of ideas. Think rehearsal room energy mixed with creative playground energy.

You will laugh a lot. Probably embarrass yourself once or twice. Definitely surprise yourself. And somewhere around day three, something clicks.

You stop waiting for permission.
