Have you ever been curious about what it takes to develop a video game from the ground up? In our Unity Game Design Camp, you'll learn the same tools that indie developers and major studios use—yes, the same ones behind games like Among Us, Hollow Knight, and Genshin Impact.

You'll start with beginner-friendly C# scripting, design player controls, add enemies and scoring systems, and create your own levels. By the end of the camp, you'll have a fully playable game to share with your family and friends.

What You'll Learn & Create

Core Game Mechanics

• Set up player movement using keyboard or mouse controls.
• Add jumping, collecting items, and health systems.
• Create simple enemies with basic artificial intelligence.

Beginner C# Scripting

• Write real code: variables, if-statements, and loops.
• Attach scripts to game objects.
• Debug and test your game as you build.

2D & 3D Level Design

• Design platformer levels using 3D blocks.
• Incorporate hazards, moving platforms, and secret areas.
• Create a main menu, win/loss screens, and a simple user interface (UI)

Final Project - Create Your Own Game

• Choose your genre: platformer, collect-a-thon, simple puzzle, or maze.
• Refine your game with sound effects and basic artwork.
• Export your game for easy sharing with friends.
