Many teachers at SVUSD understand behavior and why students do what they do. What we need now is solutions for these behaviors.

This training is for those who already know the basics of behavior and are able to explain the functions of behavior. We will spend our time focusing on strategies and interventions that work. To do this, we will look at scenarios pulled from current SVUSD students and go through how we would respond. We will look at different intervention options and discuss the pros and cons of each.

Teachers should be able to walk out of this training new strategies for responding to behavior.
