Parenting Through Art
Kids are natural artists, but sometimes, it can be hard to support them. Maybe you don't feel artistic enough, or messy materials stress you out, or you freeze when a child proudly shares a drawing of... well, what is that exactly? This workshop will give you new ways to think about, talk with, and make art with your kiddos. Designed for parents & caregivers of kids ages 0-10.
What you'll get:
- Ideas for simple ways to bring more visual arts creativity into your home without mess-stress
- Hands-on experimentation with materials - come try out a variety of low-cost art techniques you can use at home
- Ways to talk about kid's art (especially when it just looks like blobs to you)
- Strategies for art viewing with kids (never dread a museum visit again!)
