Adirondack Mountain Club

A classic ADK paddle loop, launching from the Young Life Camp, paddling north along the western shore of Upper Saranac Lake into Fish Ponds, then paddling up Fish Creek to Copperas Pond, Whey, Rollins and Floodwood, returning via Fish Creek, Fish Ponds and Upper Saranac Lake, back to camp.

There will be two carries, totaling just over a half mile, between Copperas and Whey and between Whey and Rollins. Participants will need to carry their own canoes and equipment across the portages. (There is another group that will be paddling a similar, but shorter route of the Floodwood Loop from Floodwood.)
