Pinal County Children’s Health Fair- Screening for Success
In Partnership with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS)

The Pinal County Children’s Health Fair advances children’s health and school readiness through early hearing and vision screenings for local families. In partnership with Blue Cross Blue Shield, this event brings together healthcare professionals, educators, and pre-service and in-service students to deliver high-quality, preventive services while strengthening the future workforce.

Student volunteers gain hands-on clinical experience under guided supervision, with opportunities to earn professional development hours through the Arizona Early Childhood Workforce Registry. At the same time, families receive essential screenings, education, and referrals that support early identification and access to care.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to improving community health outcomes, expanding access to preventive services, and investing in a stronger, healthier future for Pinal County children and families.
