The countdown has begun!

We hope everything is going smoothly as you prepare for your exchange semester this Fall! While you’re counting down the days, and to make the wait a little more enjoyable, we’d love to invite you to two of our events on Monday 18 May.

Predeparture meeting (17:00-18:15, REC A0.01)
What can you expect? Topics covered include:
✅ What not to forget before your departure
✅ What to do upon arrival
✅ Useful tips for your exchange (including insights from former exchange students)
✅ Opportunity to ask any last-minute questions

Goodbye event (18:15-19:30, REC A Hall)
What can you expect?
Right after the predeparture meeting, we, together with ESN, invite all future exchange students, former exchange students and current exchange students at the UvA – who are about to wrap up their time in Amsterdam and return home – to come together, have a drink, and share tips, stories, and experiences on preparing for an exchange journey. It is a great opportunity to meet each other, ask questions, and enjoy a nice atmosphere before your next chapter begins!

Please only register for this event if you are a student going on exchange during the first semester of the 2026-2027 academic year.
