Heirloom Artist Workshop - Casey Beck

Casey will share his various Studio processes both at the wheel and at the table, discussing how he develops new forms and ideas. He will demonstrate his handbuilt plate making and the process of creating the bisque molds used for the plates. At the wheel he will demonstrate various forms, including cups, jugs and altered forms while sharing his thoughts on interior / exterior relationships and creating process information to add depth to the clay surface.
The Day will include an artist talk, demonstration, and hands on time to try out the Treadle Wheel! All materials and tools provided.
