Pistol 1 is built for shooters who are ready to strengthen their core skills and lay the groundwork for faster, more accurate shooting. This course focuses on dialing in key techniques like drawing from a holster, building an aggressive grip, mastering trigger control, reloading smoothly, and moving confidently between multiple targets.
Students will focus on building consistent, repeatable mechanics that allow them to shoot with more speed and precision under pressure.
Who this course is for:
If you’re looking to sharpen your skills that make a difference on the range, Pistol 1 is the place to start. Pistol 1 is designed for students who have basic familiarity with firearms and want to take their shooting to the next level. If you can handle loading, clearing, and holstering your pistol safely, you’re ready for this course. This course is NOT designed for brand new shooters that haven't handled a firearm previously.
Must have:
- Semi-automatic pistol
- Holster for pistol: Dominant side, hip-mounted holster or dominant side, belt-mounted holster (Active Retention or Friction Retention. NO SERPA HOLSTERS)
- 400 Rounds Pistol Ammunition
- Magazine pouch(es)
- Sturdy belt
- Approved hearing protection (Electronic Preferred)
- Approved eye protection
- 3 magazines minimum.
- No Sig P320's
Additional items:
- Footwear suitable for uneven terrain, rapid movement, and turning
- Clothing suitable for training in current conditions
- Lunch/Water
- Gun parts/Tool
There is a $35 range fee due on the day of facility usage. Cash is preferred.
