Adirondack Mountain Club

Cobble Hill is part of the Lake Placid 9er Hiking Challenge. The trail starts near the Northwood School and follows a boardwalk for the first section. As the trail ascends, there’s a short section of steep, open rock slab with views of the village of Lake Placid. Upon reaching the summit, you can see the Olympic Ski Jump in the distance.

Note that there isn’t a designated parking lot for this trailhead and street parking is required.
