Performance Edge Self Defense Workshop
The Level One Self Defense Workshop is the right starting point for anyone who wants to become more aware, more confident, and better prepared to protect themselves and the people they care about. While many people think self defense starts with punches and kicks, this two hour workshop focuses on the foundational skills that help you recognize danger early and respond before a situation gets worse.
Led by Aaron Little of Performance Edge, this workshop provides a practical, no-nonsense introduction to personal protection. Students will learn the mental and physical fundamentals of self defense in a structured, supportive environment that prepares them for future training.
In this workshop, you will learn:
Situational Awareness and Pre-Assault Recognition — Learn how to pay attention to your environment, recognize developing threats, and spot the warning signs that often come before an attack.
How to Respond to Physical Encroachment — Practice simple, effective responses to common close-range threats such as grabbing, reaching, pushing, and shoving.
Foundational Movement Skills for Self Defense — Build the mechanical and tactical base you need to eventually progress into the strikes, kicks, and elbow and knee techniques covered in higher-level Performance Edge courses.
Who this is for: This workshop is designed for beginners and for anyone who wants to improve their awareness, confidence, and ability to respond under pressure using practical, real world skills.
