Practical Concealed Carry – Level 1

(Recommended for those with a North Carolina Concealed Carry Permit or equivalent experience)

This course is designed for newly certified concealed carry permit holders, as well as individuals looking to build confidence, efficiency, and consistency in their everyday carry practices.

Throughout this class, students will develop a strong foundation in safe gun handling and legal considerations, while gaining practical, real-world skills. Training will include drawing from concealment (standing and seated positions), reloads, one-handed shooting, close-range engagements, movement, use of cover and concealment, barricade work, and critical decision-making on the range.

This course is ideal for shooters who already understand the fundamentals of handgun safety and are ready to advance their skillset, whether you are newer to concealed carry or an experienced shooter refining your technique.

The class consists of approximately 8 hours of combined dry fire and live fire training.
Estimated round count: 500–550 rounds.

Required Gear:

• Concealed carry holster (mandatory)
• Magazine pouch (recommended, not required)
• Closed-toe shoes, eye protection, and hearing protection

Additional Notes:
Cross-body bags or fanny pack setups may be permitted at the instructor’s discretion based on safety. Students are strongly encouraged to bring a standard holster as a backup.

• Ammunition (500–550 rounds)
• Hat, sunscreen
• Notebook and pen for notes
• Water and a positive, train-ready mindset
