NHS Healthchecks
Course Overview
This half-day programme is designed to support clinicians delivering NHS Health Checks in accordance with the national NHS Health Check Competency Framework and local governance requirements.
The session focuses on safe cardiovascular risk assessment, effective communication of QRISK3 scores, lifestyle intervention strategies, and appropriate referral pathways. Training can be adapted to suit mixed-skill audiences, including Healthcare Assistants, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists and other Primary Care clinicians.
