Teen Arts Summit
The Teen Arts Summit is a program held at Bowie State University for teens ages 12-19 interested in fine and performing arts. Students will be provided with mentorship and development in the following tracks: (1) Vocal Performance, (2) Dance, (3) Visual Arts, and (4) Digital Media. In addition to only selecting one core art development track, students can participate in the Teen Summit Showcase Choir at no additional cost.

Following the evening sessions will be a two-week camp where fine and performing arts educators and assistants will work with students to develop the teens, help them explore their gifts, and prepare for the showcase on Saturday, August 1st. The showcase includes vendors, artwork displays, vocal and instrumental recitals, dance, and digital media presentations, and it is free to attend.

- High School Seniors can enter an art contest to win a mini-scholarship to assist with college supplies and materials
- Theater-inspired performances during the showcase
- Music Instruments and Songwriting development tracks are available at an additional fee
