Rogue Valley Pottery Supply

This multi-day workshop is all about building a mosaic from start to finish. You’ll begin by making your own tile pieces, then move through the process of shaping, texturing, glazing, and finally bringing everything together into one finished piece.

Along the way, we’ll cover the practical stuff—like how to work with shrinkage and avoid warping—while also focusing on the fun parts: planning your design, playing with texture, and creating something that feels uniquely yours. By the end, you’ll have a completed mosaic and a solid understanding of the whole process from start to finish.

Workshop Itinerary:

Friday, June 19 | 5:30–8:00 PM
Start your design, shape your tiles, and cut out your pieces.

Saturday, June 20 | 10:00 AM–4:00 PM
Clean up your tiles, add texture, and begin glazing.

Friday, June 26 | 5:00–6:30 PM
Finish glazing your pieces before they go in for firing.

Saturday, June 27 | 4:00–6:00 PM
Assemble your mosaic and start seeing it all come together.

Sunday, June 28 | 4:00–6:00 PM
Grout and finish your mosaic—your piece is complete!

Cost of clay, use of tools and glazes are included with the class fee. Other types of clay are also available for purchase at the Supply Side. 

We will not be able to offer make-up classes. Please note, this class is for adults ages 17 and up. 

Cancellations 15 days or more prior to the start of the class will receive a full refund minus a 5% processing fee. Cancellations up to 7 days prior will receive 50% back.

Cancellations made the week of the class will not be refunded.
