“Cha Cha Cha Chia!”

We will be building our own chia pets representing the ancient civilization of 1970’s. If you’ve lived through a few 80’s commercials, you will forever have the ear worm song of chia pets living in your brain. Such a silly time capsule and something fun to create for yourself.

We’ll be hand building a terra cotta clay vessel that will hold chia seedlings and grow from the moisture of the water oasis on the inside. Please come prepared with design ideas, and consider bringing multiple concepts so you can pivot as needed.

Cost of clay, use of tools and glazes are included with the class fee. Other types of clay are also available for purchase at the Supply Side.

Firings are included up to 300 cubic inches. Larger or additional pieces will cost .08 per cubic inch. 

Please note this class is for ages 13 and up. Out of town guests can arrange for shipping

Cancellations 15 days or more prior to the start of the class will receive a full refund minus a 5% processing fee. Cancellations up to 7 days prior will receive 50% back.

Cancellations made the week of the class will not be refunded.
