This class is for brand new players of the instrument. If you have ever had the desire to pick up a guitar, this is the class for you! In this class, you will learn the fundamentals of guitar playing. These skills will include: proper tuning of the instrument, reading sheet music, fretting notes, playing chords, and basic musical theory.
This class will be held on Wednesdays from 4:30 pm to 5:15 pm. There is a capacity of 12 students per class, and these classes will be held as a 6-week-long program! We ask that you please reach out if your student is unable to attend class at any point during the 6 weeks (alyssa@lucslight.org). Doors will open 15 minutes before classes start. Pickup will be at the end of each class.
This 6-week program will start on April 29th and end on June 3rd. Students ages 12-20 may join at any time!
