This class is designed for students entering Algebra 1. Each stand-alone session is $35.

**When registering, please indicate which session(s) you are signing up for:

Session 1: Decimals (all operations); Factors (Prime, Greatest Common Factor, Least Common Multiple); Fractions and Mixed Numbers (all operations); Order of Operations (PEMDAS); Signed Numbers (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, PEMDAS)

Session 2: Exponents (positive and negative) including PEMDAS; Zero Exponents (quick review); Absolute Value; Scientific Notation including PEMDAS

Session 3: Geometry Review: Area, Perimeter, Volume (plane and geometric figures); Pythagorean Theorem; Area as a Difference; Surface Area

Session 4: Algebraic Phrases and Sentences (identifying, writing, solving); Word Problems with fractions, percent, and decimals; Changes/Increases in Percent (word problems); Adding Like Terms and Multiple Term Equations; Evaluating Algebraic Expressions

Session 5: Inequalities and Negated Inequalities (identification and graphing); Graphing Linear Equations; Unit Conversions
