Early Arrival – Olympic Raffle

Be early! The first 50 employees, students or travelers to arrive will be entered in the Olympic Raffle. The prize is a $200 Gift Card to REI!

Food & Drink

We have a great picnic menu planned, including:

A variety of gourmet dogs:

  • Chihuahua - Hot dog with onions, jalapeños, chipotle mayo and cheddar cheese
  • Coyboy Dog - Hot dog, chili, BBQ sauce, mustard and onions
  • Farm Dog - Hot dog, pulled pork, cream cheese sauce, bacon bits and crispy fried onions
  • Seoul Dog - Hot dog, Gochujang glaze, kimchi slaw, scallions and toasted sesame seeds

We will also be serving Mac & Cheese (Vegetarian), chips, Mixed Green Salad, Pasta Salad and an assortment of beverages.

Dessert Contest

What's an OSS picnic without the annual dessert competition!

In order to participate, you must register for the dessert competition. You will be asked if you are planning on participating in the dessert competition during the registration process.

All Employees, Travelers, Students and Guests are welcomed to participate! We will have a separate tent for all the dessert entries, next to the lunch buffet lines. All desserts must on site by 11:00 am. While everyone will share in the desserts after lunch, remember, there will be one winner as declared by our panel of dessert judges

Want To Be A Dessert Competition Judge?

We need three! Simply send an email to Claude (cciancio@osstherapy.com) explaining your very special qualifications to serve in this prestigious role. All judge applications are due no later than Wednesday, July 9! As a judge you will be responsible for trying every entered dessert. Yes, everyone of them! And you and the rest of the judges will determine the winner. The 3 judges will be named on July 10.

Dessert Competition Prize

What’s the Prize for the winner?  A Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer - $450 value.

Olympic Bingo

Yes! Bingo returns for yet another year. All are welcome to participate. Once again, we will have really great prizes for every winner.

The Dog Day Games!

The Dog Day games begin with a "doggie parade". But what comes next will be something to bark about. There will be 4 events:

  • Best Dog Trick: If your dog has a special talent, this will be the time to show off.
  • Best Dog Costume: Get creative. We like dressing up at the Winter Gala, why not have your dog dress up for the Summer Picnic.
  • Dog/Dog-Parent Look-A-Like Competition: If you've ever been told you look like a dog, now's the time to cash in!
  • Doggie Relay: This relay does not include dogs! As we have done in the past, we will pit clinic against clinic in a dog themed human relay race.

You will be asked to sign up for the dog trick, dog costume and Dog Look-A-Like competitions on the registration page. We need to know who is entering all three of these contests.

Tents, Tents & More Tents

We will have large tents with tables and chairs, a tent for the buffet and one more for the desserts. We encourage everyone to bring a pop up, if you have one. (They are not required.) We are asking everyone to set up their pop ups around the perimeter of the Olympic Field, creating stadium-like feel.

Kid’s Games

There will be a separate area for kid’s games throughout the day.
