Introduction to Circular Knitting
This class is designed for knitters ready to expand their skills into circular knitting. You will learn the fundamentals of the Magic Loop method, along with a stretchy cast-on that creates a clean, professional finish.
Through guided instruction and hands-on practice, you will gain confidence working in the round while understanding how tension and structure function in circular projects. By the end of the class, you will complete a pair of heel-less spiral socks, a craft that dates back to the early 1900s, and leave with the skills to continue exploring hats, sleeves, and other small-circumference projects on your own.
This class also serves as strong preparation for the upcoming Beginner Sock Knitting class, beginning June 23, where these same techniques will be applied to full sock construction.
