Zine Making About You, the Artist

Zines and other hand-made books have long been part of artists’ practice. Please join us to make a small zine all about YOU, The Artist!

In this class, participants will make a small six-page zine from one piece of paper that introduces themselves and their art. We will do a few exercises to develop our content, then we will fill our zine pages using drawing, writing, and collage. We plan to copy the zines to share among all the participants in the class, and if the artists would like then we will send copies of the zines to the Zine Pavillion at the American Library Association conference being held in Chicago, June 2026.

This class is a two part series, artists are invited to join us for one or both. Introduction to Zine Making will be held at the South Haven Memorial Library on Thursday, May 21.
