Mississippi Enhanced Firearms Permit Course

This course satisfies the training requirement for the Mississippi Enhanced Carry Permit.

The class covers Mississippi firearms law, use of force considerations, safe gun handling, and marksmanship fundamentals. The course includes both classroom instruction and live-fire qualification on the range.

What to Bring:

• A safe, functional handgun (loaner firearms are available if you don't have one — just let us know when you register)
• A holster if you have one (optional)
• 100 rounds of factory ammunition
• Eye and ear protection
• A pen or pencil for written materials
• Weather-appropriate clothing (range portion is outdoors)

Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate of training to submit with their Enhanced Carry Permit application to the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.
