THE HUMAN ADVANTAGE: RECOGNITION, BELONGING AND THE HUMAN SYSTEMS THAT DRIVE ENGAGEMENT AND PERFORMANCE

*Act 48 Eligible - Please be sure to bring your PPID Number for the sign in sheet.

This professional development session helps educators build classroom cultures where recognition, belonging, and human connection drive student engagement, motivation, and academic success.

Participants will explore how intentional recognition practices influence risk-taking, persistence, and student identity, while learning to shift from compliance-based participation to contribution-based learning environments. Through reflection, application, and classroom design strategies, educators will learn how to embed meaningful recognition into daily instruction, strengthen student voice, and create inclusive spaces where all learners feel seen and valued.

Aligned with MTSS, UDL, and the Danielson Framework, this session provides practical tools for creating sustainable, recognition-rich classrooms that support both student achievement and teacher well-being.
