In this Capture the Flag challenge, you won't know what kind of game element you're working with until you arrive! Then, you can use a pre-built robot base or build your own, and build a manipulator to capture your opponent's flag and return it to your base!

Compete with your classmates to capture the flag, defend, and have fun.

You will not be able to keep these robots - they are prototypes only.  If you're planning to compete next season, take notes and pictures for your competition season.

INTERMEDIATE event: This event is fun for advanced and beginners alike, but brand new students will need some help!

FAQ:

Q: Can I work with my friend or parent as a team?
A: Yes, but you must both sign up and pay the fee separately. Event is intended as an individual event, and each student CAN build their own robot.
Q: What kinds of parts do you have available? 
A:  I have all V1 kit and some V2 kit parts. Limited pneumatics kits available f or use.

Q: Can I use the robot for the competition?
A: No, the robot will be deconstructed after the event

Q: Can my mom come help me build?
A: Any age can sign up, so yes but they have to sign up separately.

Q: Is this event free for teachers?
A: Yes - teachers can attend for free. Please sign up and choose pay later, then send a note about where you teach at.

Q: I am a high school student. Can I attend?
A: Yes, this event is not age restricted.

Q: Will you show me how to build a robot?
A: Teachers will help as much as possible if you have questions.
