Gladius Tactical

The Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) course, developed by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, is a nationally recognized program designed to provide life-saving medical training for high-threat and dynamic environments.

This course equips students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond effectively to traumatic injuries in civilian tactical settings, including active violence incidents, remote locations, and environments where traditional emergency medical services may be delayed.

Course Overview

TECC bridges the gap between traditional first aid and tactical medical response by focusing on the management of life-threatening injuries under real-world conditions. Students learn how to prioritize care, make critical decisions under stress, and provide immediate treatment while ensuring personal safety.

Key Training Areas:

• A Direct Threat Care that is rendered while under attack or in adverse conditions.
• Indirect Threat Care that is rendered while the threat has been suppressed, but may resurface at any point.
• Evacuation Care that is rendered while the casualty is being evacuated from the incident site.
• Hemorrhage control.
• Combat Application Tourniquet.
• Surgical airway control and needle decompression.
• Strategies for treating wounded responders in threatening environments.
• Caring for pediatric patients
• Techniques for dragging and carrying victims to safety.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 or older.

Certification:

• National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) 4 Year Certification
