EPICS Project Collaboration and Custom Content Session
EPICS Project Collaboration & Custom Content Session
EPICS Custom Content & Project Collaboration sessions are designed to be immersive, collaborative, and data-driven — enabling clearer storytelling, better system understanding, and deeper discussions using your real-world environments, best practices, multimedia assets, and presentations. Three use-cases are available and can be combined in a single session or across multiple EPICS sessions.
BYOM1 — Bring Your Own Models: EPICS brings your building to life by importing Revit/BIM, energy, and 3D object models directly into the cube, creating immersive and interactive building model experiences. Participants can navigate and interrogate their actual building models — exploring system layouts, spatial relationships, project scenarios, and design data. Interactive Decarbonization Planning Tools and Energy Models can also be deployed in the EPICS Immersive Media Room using touchscreens, wireless keyboard and mouse devices, and tablets.
BYOM2 — Bring Your Own Mechanical Rooms: EPICS transforms your mechanical rooms into immersive, interactive environments using 360° imagery or video. These experiences feature clickable hotspots that bring depth and context to every session, including annotated equipment images, PDFs such as manuals and checklists, demonstration videos, 3D and BIM elements, navigational links between system zones, and live performance tools and calculators such as economizer analysis. The result is a more engaging, informative, and technically rich session experience.
BYOC — Bring Your Own Content: EPICS sessions can be fully customized with your own 2D and 360° images, videos, websites, cloud applications, PDFs, slide presentations, analytics, and multimedia content. This includes Existing Building Commissioning (EBCx), Building Performance data, and project or building data visualizations through platforms such as Power BI and Tableau. Live BAS, ESG, and trend data can be streamed directly into the session, while EBCx reports, trend data, and live or static BAS screenshots can be displayed to enable real-time troubleshooting, analysis, and discussion.
