Rest Practice for Wonderfully Imperfect Changemakers
Are you a changemaker who sometimes gets stuck in indecision because of wanting to "get things right"? If so, wonderful human, you are not alone! Despite good intentions, perfectionistic ideals can get in the way of attending to what actually matters. Counterintuitively, taking a meaningful, restful pause instead of pushing through often creates meaningful change, both on the small and larger scales. In this series we intentionally practice resting as a strategy for taking our "next right imperfect action." Think of it like going to the gym: you will be guided to "put in the reps" toward creating a rested you, which helps create a better-rested world. Together we explore different rest practices, and participants will choose resonant ones to play with in daily life. If you believe small changes can have outsized positive outcomes, this workshop might be the imperfectly perfect container for seeding your next big win – for you and your beloved communities.
