Alfred's Firearm & Outdoor Education

This course is open to everyone.

If you are signing up through the Métis Society, please immediately send a $50 deposit.

If you are not signing up through the Métis Society, full payment must immediately accompany your registration.
If deposit or payments are not sent within 24 hours the registration will be cancelled.

PAL stands for Possession Acquisition License. This course, once successfully completed will allow you to apply for a Firearms License. In order to successfully complete the course, students must score at least 80% on both the written and practical exams. The course involves about 10 hours of instruction, including practical gun handling.

We will be using the PAL manual so you must either down load it onto a tablet or laptop and bring it with you or request a paper manual.

The practical test takes 20 minutes and will be scheduled Saturday evening after the course.

Payment secures a spot in the course. If you need to cancel or change to a different date, please give at least 2 days notice. Cancelation within 24 hours of the course will not be refunded.
